the long story

I kicked off my career as an intern in the depths of fashion closets at NYC magazines. After earning my B.B.A. in Strategic Design & Management (basically, how to be creative while running a business), I was social media editor and writer for Clique Media Group, NYLON, The Zoe Report, and Glamour—and contributed to early stage development for brands like MERIT and Versed.

After 5+ years in editorial, I moved brand-side at Rent the Runway, writing UX copy that helped solve tricky product problems, along with 360 marketing campaigns and membership comms. Since then, I've written across a range of brand voices and channels—including AI training content designed to help models recognize and respond to harmful patterns.

Outside the work itself, I've been drawn to the places where words can do more—co-chairing Rent the Runway's Black In Style ERG, serving on Condé Nast's D&I Task Force, and completing a post-grad certificate in Fashion Sustainability at Parsons. I believe the brands worth building are the ones that think about who they're for and what they leave behind.

Words carry weight. The right ones build trust, move product, and make a brand feel inevitable. Let's talk about it.
